According to the information received, a new Marine Drive is to be constructed from Shani temple to Kayaghat, for this, the Municipal Corporation had given notice to 295 people of the area and on June 12, the final notice was issued and the ultimatum to vacate the goods was given. In protest, on the last night, a large number of Mohalla residents sat on a dharna outside the collector residence and shouted slogans for several hours. But despite this, no result could be yielded.
As soon as this morning, a large number of police left for Kayaghat. The entire area has turned into a police camp. During this time, she has been arrested after a push with women Congress workers who came to oppose the sabotage and there is an atmosphere of tension in the entire area. It is being told that sabotage has started for construction of new Marine drive and on the first day, there is talk of breaking 20 houses.
