Indore
The Meghalaya Police has made several shocking revelations in the murder of Ja Raghuvanshi. After the murder, Sonam ran away from Meghalaya wearing a burqa. She reached Indore in Madhya Pradesh by taxi, bus and train. The murder plan began to be made in February itself. The conspiracy was finalized just before the wedding in Indore, including Sonam. The police have also arrested three friends Vishal, Akash and Anand of Raj Kushwaha. According to the police, Sonam has been in Indore from 26 May to 8 June.
These were not betel nuts
According to the police, he was not a betel nut killer, but was a friend of Raj and agreed to kill for friendship. After killing the king, the accused had planned to kill another woman and present her as Sonam. However, the police arrested all the accused.
Investigating in depth
The Meghalaya Police is investigating the matter deeply. Superintendent of Police of East Khasi Hills District Vivek Siem has given many important information in this matter. He told how the murder conspiracy was hatched and how the accused carried out it.
Superintendent of Police Vivek Siem said that the plan to kill the king was being made since long ago. The accused tried to kill the king in Assam on 19 May, but they could not succeed. After this, Sonam suggested going to Shillong and Sohra. All the accused met in Nongriyat. From there, Y Vesdong left for Falls.
Superintendent of Police of Eastern Khasi Hills District Vivek Sayam told ‘PTI-Bhasha’ that the conspiracy to kill Raja was hatched in Indore just before her marriage with Sonam and its mastermind Raj Kushwaha, while Sonam agreed to the conspiracy.
Superintendent of Police Vivek Sayam said, “The three youths were friends and one of them is Raj’s cousin. It is not a case of giving betel nut for murder. Yes, the plan was murdered and he did so to help his friend Raj.” The police officer said that Raj had given him Rs 50,000 for spending. He said that the plan of the incident started in Indore in February and he thought of ways of Sonam to escape from there after the king’s murder.
The senior police officer said, “One plan of the accused was that people should be assured that they must have been swept away. The second plan was to kill an unknown woman, her body should be loaded on a two -wheeler, the body should be burnt and claimed that it is Sonam’s body. However, no plan was successful.”
Murdered in 18 minutes
According to Vivek Siem, between 2:00 pm and 2:18 pm, the three attacked the king with a machete (knife -like weapon). The king was killed in front of Sonam. Then the corpse was thrown into the ditch. After the murder, Sonam gave her raincoat to Akash, as she had blood stains on her shirt. The raincoat and two-wheeler were later released at some distance from the scene. It was recovered by the police during Sonam’s ‘missing’.
Sonam ran away wearing a burqa
The story of Sonam’s Ferrari is also quite interesting. Raj gave a burqa to his friend Vishal, which Sonam wore. She went to Guwahati with a taxi from the police market. Then by bus, Siliguri (West Bengal), then Patna and Ara, then reached Lucknow by train and from there by bus.
Guide revealed
The whole matter opened when Meghalaya Media spoke to a guide. The guide saw Raja and Sonam with three other people. Raj had asked Sonam to go to Siliguri and present himself as abducted. But on June 8, when Sonam left Indore, two teams of Meghalaya Police had reached UP and Madhya Pradesh.
When the first arrest (Akash) took place, Raj got nervous. She told Sonam to call her family and say that she had left a gang. It was from here that the whole matter was exposed and Sonam came in front of the police in Ghazipur. Sonam and Raj felt that the king’s body would not be found quickly because the place was very inaccessible and the investigation could take a month. For this reason, Sonam wanted to get sympathy by showing herself kidnapped.
Will file a charge sheet within 90 days
SP Siem said that the statements of the accused are being recorded. He expressed confidence that a charge sheet would be filed within the 90 -day deadline. All five accused have been sent to police custody for 8 days on Wednesday.
