The echo of the murder of Indore businessman Raja Raghuvanshi was not yet stopped that another heartbreaking incident took place from Sangli district of Maharashtra. Here a 27 -year -old woman allegedly killed her 53 -year -old husband Anil Lokhande. The incident took place just 15 days after marriage.
Assistant Inspector Deepak Bhandwalkar, Kupwad MIDC Police Station, said, “There was a fight in the couple on Tuesday night. While Anil was sleeping at around 12.30 pm on Wednesday, Radhika stabbed her head with an ax and died on the spot. She told her cousin about it. We arrested the woman and presented her in the court. The court has given us two days.”
Police said the accused woman has been arrested. He was detained from his house in Kupwad tehsil of Sangli district. The police officer said, “The matter is quite sensitive and we are investigating all aspects.”
Police say that Anil Lokhande had married Radhika a second marriage 15 days ago. Lokhande’s first wife died of cancer. He was insisting on repeated physical relations with his new wife to complete this marriage. This made Radhika angry. She killed her husband with an ax and killed her.
Officials have registered a case against Radhika under Section 103 (1) of BNS.
