Under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, the Chief Minister of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the Chhattisgarh government is realizing the resolve to reach the last person of the society. The Pradhan Mantri Janman Yojana is bringing unprecedented changes in the standard of living of special backward tribes. Thousands of people of this society are now getting safe housing, clean water and basic facilities. Janman Yojana is not only a housing scheme, but it is also carrying out social inclusion, cleanliness, education and employment opportunities.

The positive impact of the Pradhan Mantri Janman Awas Yojana has started appearing in the lives of special backward tribes in many districts of the state. The raw huts saved in their separate culture have started stability in the lives of special backward tribes who live in their living houses and have provided stability, the Pradhan Mantri Janman Housing Scheme. When the schemes of the government are implemented properly on the ground, there is a positive change in the life of the common citizen.

Changes in the life of Shri Samaru, a resident of village Singpur of Magarlod development block of Dhamtari district, are now being seen clearly. Samaru Ram is now being provided benefits of housing scheme as well as other schemes under the Pradhan Mantri Janman Yojana. He told that he has residing in this village since childhood. Whatever they had as their own property, it was the ancestral raw house. Like every person, he also wished that he had his own pucca house, this dream was fulfilled by the Pradhan Mantri Janman Yojana. On receiving the information of the scheme, Samaruram applied to make his need, after the approval of the Gram Sabha, he was selected to make a firm house. As soon as the first installment in his bank account came under the scheme, Samaru laid the foundation for construction of the house and with the help of the government, the dream of beautiful housing was consumed. Samaru Ram, who had been living his life under difficult conditions in raw houses for years, is now living a respectable life with family in a pucca residence built under the Pradhan Mantri Janman Yojana. Umang can be seen clearly on his face.

Samaru Ram says that now we are not worried about rain, cold or heat. My family is safe. This house is not just walls and ceilings for me, it is the foundation of our dreams. This housing, built with the cooperation of the government, not only fulfilled his dream but also gave freedom from the weather that caused the weather to be freedom.

It is noteworthy that 01 thousand 469 houses are sanctioned under the Prime Minister’s Public Housing Scheme in Dhamtari district, out of which 815 houses have been completed, the remaining 654 houses are under construction, which will be completed soon. Under the Pradhan Mantri Janman Awas Yojana, the assistance amount of Rs 2 lakh is provided to the beneficiaries in 4 installments. The first installment is 40 thousand, the second installment is 60 thousand, the third installment is 80 thousand and the fourth installment is 20 thousand rupees. Along with this, 90 days wages are also provided to the beneficiary under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme.
