Madhya Pradesh’s first Resident Fisheries Production and Processing Cluster Halali: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that under the PM Fisheries Sampada Yojana, the first Resident Fisheries Production and Processing Cluster of Madhya Pradesh to be built near Bhopal near Bhopal will be released from Indore on 13 June. Union fishermen farming, animal husbandry and dairy minister Shri Rajiv Ranjan Singh will inaugurate it at the National Inland Fisheries and Aquaculture meeting. In the country, 17 such clusters have been identified by the Central Government in the PM Matsya Sampada Yojana which are being developed on the basis of the characteristics of fisheries of those areas.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that such a meeting related to Fisheries in Inland State is being held in Indore for the first time in the country. The meeting is the purpose of increasing fisheries production in the states whose boundaries do not connect with the sea. Representatives of states are participating in this meeting only who do not perform fisheries production activities from the sea.

Fisheries Minister of 20 states of the country will be included
The fisheries minister of 20 states of the country is participating in the Inland Fisheries and Aquaculture Meet to be held in Indore. The national meeting is attended by fisherman of Madhya Pradesh, Shri Narayan Singh Panwar, Uttar Pradesh Fisheries Minister Shri Sanjay Kumar Nishad, Fisherman of Bihar, Ms. Renu Devi of Bihar, Ms. Renu Devi, Haryana Minister of Animal Husbandry, Dairy and Fisheries Shri Shyam Singh Rana, Minister of State for Animal Husbandry and Fisherman of Rajasthan, Mr. Jawahar Singh Badham, are also participating. Especially in the meeting, Dr. Abhilaksha, the Fisheries Secretary of the Central Government and Joint Secretary Shri Sagar Mehra will also be present.

According to the instructions of the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, in order to promote exports in fisheries production in the country, technical-sessions will also be organized on the experiments being done in different states of India. These will include presentations on new techniques being adopted in the world towards national level institutions ICAR-CIFRI, (Car-CIFA, NFDB. New techniques being adopted in the world. In technical sessions, reservoirs, lease policy, modern ways in river and ponds will also include subjects such as fisheries and possibilities of fisheries in cold water.

Certificates will also be distributed to the beneficiaries by Union Minister Shri Rajiv Ranjan Singh, including fisheries cooperatives, fishermen producing organizations, fisheries start ups and traditional fishermen. Farmers credit card and aquatic agricultural insurance will also be provided to fishermen. Its purpose is to provide insurance and digital access to fishermen. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, continuous work is being done on the efficient management of the water sector to make fishermen self -sufficient in the state. Due to this, an exhibition is also being organized at the Brilliant Convention Center in Indore on the occasion of Inland Fisheries and Aquaculture Meet, in which the beautiful Aqua Park of the state and new technical-kese culture of fisheries and stalls will be set up.

Due to the efforts of the state government, the income of fishermen in the state is increasing. Along with this, all activities related to fisherman rearing are being done seriously in Madhya Pradesh to achieve the goals of Vision 2047. Efforts are also on for post harvest management, processing and export of products, especially in the field of input supply. Seoni district of the state has also received the Best Inland District Award before. Also, the primary fisherman cooperative society of Balaghat district has been recognized at the national level towards empowerment of fishermen.
