President Donald Trump implemented travel ban on a total of 19 countries

Washington
A total of 19 countries have been implemented by President Donald Trump. Of these, new sanctions imposed on the US visit of citizens of 12 African and West Asian countries came into effect from Monday. In the new order signed by President Trump on Wednesday, new travel restrictions have been imposed on those from seven additional countries, which are outside the US and who do not have a valid visa. This new ban is a sign of America’s changing immigration policy, which is not only making entry into the US difficult, but also likely to tension in relations with the affected countries.

What is the new order?
Under this new executive order signed by President Trump on Wednesday, travel restrictions have been imposed on citizens living outside the US who do not have a valid American visa. This ban does not cancel the already issued visa, but completely affects new visa applications.

The new ban affects countries in two categories:
Afghanistan
Myanma
Chad
Republic of Congo
Equatorial guinea
Irritriya
Hati
Iran
Libia
Somalia
Sudan
Yemen
Citizens of these countries will no longer be able to get a new visa in America, unless they meet special circumstances.

In the second category, the visa conditions for the citizens of the 7 countries have been tightened in them
Burundi
Cuba
Laos
Sierra Leone
Togo
Turkmenistan
Venezuela
Visa screening processes have been tightened for citizens of these countries and visas have been temporarily stopped in several categories.

Reason for decision
The Trump administration has said that these decisions have been taken to prevent national security, immigration fraud and increasing number of people living illegally in the US. These countries have been placed in the “high risk” category, as many of these countries have proved weak in security cooperation, information sharing and anti -terrorism measures according to the US.

Protests and support
Human rights organizations and Democrat leaders have described this order as inspired on discriminatory and racial basis. At the same time, Trump supporters and some Republic leaders have described it as a step towards improving the immigration system and making America safe.
