One of the three accused who accompanied Sonam in the Raja Raghuvanshi murder case was arrested by the police from Basahari village under Khimlasa police station in Bina in Sagar district on Monday morning. From here, Anand Kurmi was staying at his relative’s house in Basahari, about ten kilometers from his native village Mirzapur. The Meghalaya police team camped on Sunday night. Bina and Khimlasa police along with five -member Meghalaya police team Bina SDOP Nitesh Patel, including DSP SA Sangma, have carried out the action.
The accused was questioned till 1 pm, after which the Meghalaya Police has left for Indore. The accused Anand used to work in Indore and is said to be a friend of the cousin of the main accused Raj Kushwaha.
