CM SAI started good governance garden in IIM Raipur


Raipur. The Chief Minister (CM) Vishnu Dev Sai (SAI) launched the Good Governance Vatika (Sushasan Vatika) in the IIM campus of the first day of the Chintan Camp 2.0 held here at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur (IIM) Raipur. Chief Minister Sai along with members of the cabinet planted the Maulashree plant in the Good Governance Vatika.

Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai along with Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw and Vijay Sharma, Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap, Finance OP Chaudhary, Industry Minister Lakhanlal Dewangan, Agriculture Minister Ram Vichar Netam, Food Minister Dayaldas Baghel, Health Minister Shyambihari Jaiswal, Revenue Minister Tankaram Verma, Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Lakshmi Rajwade, IIM Rawat, Director of Chief Minister. Ram Kumar Kankani also planted Maulashree plant.

Features of Maulashree tree

Maulashree is a fragrant flower tree found in the Indian subcontinent, South Asia and South-East Asia. It is an evergreen tree that is usually 10–15 meters high. Its flowers are small, white or light yellow, extremely fragrant. Their smell is even faster at night. Maulashree tree also has medicinal properties and is used to treat many problems. Traditionally it has been planted around temples and in the courtyard of houses.
