Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai paid tribute to martyr ASP Shri Akash Rao Girpunje’s residence

Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai today reached the residence of ASP Shri Akash Rao Girpunje, martyred in the IED blast in Konta in Sukma district, and paid floral tribute to his body by paying a wreath on his body. Chief Minister Shri Sai met the mourned family members of the martyr ASP Shri Akash Rao Girpunje and expressed condolences and tied them up. He said that the martyr ASP Shri Akash Rao Girpunje has made supreme sacrifice by showing indomitable courage, loyalty and dedication to his duty. We are proud of them. The government is standing with his family in this hour of grief. Forest Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap, who arrived with the Chief Minister and Additional Chief Secretary of Home Department Mr. Manoj Pingua, Director General of Police Mr. Arun Dev Gautam, Additional Director General of Police Naxal Operation Shri Vivekananda Sinha also paid tribute to the martyr Shri Girpunje.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai, postponing his proposed visit to Rajnandgaon in view of the Naxal incident in Konta in Sukma today, inquired about the incident in the high level meeting of senior officials of the Home Department in his office room at the Ministry Mahanadi Bhavan. Chief Minister Shri Sai took information from the officials from the officials about the IED blast by Naxalites in Konta in Sukma district and reviewed the Naxal operations. He instructed the injured soldiers to ensure all necessary arrangements providing proper treatment quickly.

The meeting was attended by Additional Chief Secretary of Home Department, Mr. Manoj Pingua, Director General of Police Mr. Arun Dev Gautam, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Mr. Subodh Kumar Singh, Additional Director General of Police Naxal Operation Mr. Vivekananda Sinha, Secretary to Chief Minister Mr. Rahul Bhagat.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai today met the injured soldiers in the IED blast by Naxalites at Konta in Sukma district at Ramakrishna Care Hospital in the capital Raipur. Chief Minister Mr. Sai knew his well-being from the injured soldiers and wished him a quick health benefit. He directed doctors to provide better treatment to the injured soldiers.
