Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai attended the closing ceremony of Kabir Jayanti Festival and Gau Gram Jan Jagran Yatra held in Sonpari village of Abhanpur development block today. He greeted the people present on Kabir Jayanti. On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Sai made announcements for Gurukul Bhavan for Rs 20 lakh, ‘Gaudham’ in the state and construction of boundary wall in Sonpari School. Along with the construction of community building, drain construction from Bhutahi Para to Ashram and CC Road construction work from Sonpari to Khilora main road to the ashram.
Chief Minister Sai said that the land of our Chhattisgarh is blessed, where the voice of Kabir Saheb has had a profound influence. Saint Kabir always preached Jiva mercy. Not only the followers of Kabirpanth have contributed to the creation of the rites of the state, but also those in whose life the serene voice of Kabir Saheb has made a profound impact. He said that Kabir Saheb dedicated his entire life to public awareness. He showed the right path to the society with his teachings. Kabir ji used to talk about public awareness in his couplets and believed that life is very priceless and should be used meaningful.
Chief Minister Shri Sai, in his address, described the humanist ideas of Sant Kabir as relevant even today and emphasized on Goseva and social unity. He greeted the representatives of the Gaushalas involved in the Gau Gram Janajagaran rally and said that this is a very meaningful effort. Shri Sai said that the land is being identified for the establishment of cow-concept.
On this occasion, Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh said that Chhattisgarh is known as a leading state in the field of rice production, steel, cement, aluminum and electricity and coal supply in the country. Dr. Singh said that in the coming time, Chhattisgarh will join the leading states of the country under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Sai.
Cabinet Minister Shri O.P. Chaudhary said that saints like Kabir, Tulsidas showed new direction to the society. No matter how much we progress financially, but only the direction and value can give the society to the society. Mr. Chaudhary said that Kabir’s ideas gave a new direction to the society and even in today’s materialistic era, his thoughts are equally relevant.
Kabirpanthi Jagatguru Shri Asanga Dev Ji threw light on the importance of Kabir Saheb. Union Minister of State Shri Tokhan Sahu, Goseva Commission Chairman Mr. Bisacer Patel, Abhanpur MLA Mr. Indrakumar Sahu, MLA Shri Kiran Dev and other dignitaries were present at the function.
