Kerala still remains the most affected state in the country. There are a total of 1950 cases of Corona here. It has seen an increase of 144 in the last 24 hours. After this, there have been cases of 822 in Gujarat, 686 in Delhi, 595 in Maharashtra, 366 in Karnataka, 219 in Uttar Pradesh, 194 in Tamil Nadu, 132 in Rajasthan and 102 in Haryana.
Talking about the deaths in the last 24 hours, three corona infected in Kerala succumbed. One was stated to be 51 years, 64 of the other and 92 years of age. All three were men and all three already had many diseases. In the same way, two corona infected in Karnataka also died. Both men who lost their lives were 51 and 78 years old. Both of them were also suffering from health problems. Apart from this, a 42 -year -old male Korona infected died in Tamil Nadu.
769 new cases in last 48 hours
According to data from the Union Ministry of Health, India’s active Kovid cases with 769 new infections in the last 48 hours have crossed 6,000 figures. According to official sources, due to increasing Kovid cases, the central government is getting a mock drill to check the preparations for the facility. All states have been instructed to ensure availability of oxygen, isolation beds, ventilaters and essential medicines.
65 deaths in the country since January
The ministry said that there are 6,133 active Kovid cases in India. There have been six more deaths in the last 24 hours. According to official sources, most cases are light and are being cured with isolation in domestic care. Since January this year, there have been 65 deaths in the country. There were a total of 257 active patients in the country on 22 May.
Important meetings were also held
Earlier on June 2 and 3, the Disaster Management Cell, Emergency Management Response (EMR) Cell (EMR) Cell, National Center for Disease Control (NCDC), Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), Integrated Disease Monitoring Program (IDSP), under the chairmanship of Dr. Sunita Sharma. A series of technical review meetings was held to evaluate the corona status and preparations.
Being closely monitored
On June 4, official sources said that the state and district monitoring units under IDSP are closely monitoring diseases (ILI) and severe acute respiratory disease (SARI) under IDSP. An official source had said that according to the guidelines, testing is recommended for all recruitment SARI cases and 5 percent ILI cases. Positive Sari samples are sent for complete genome sequencing through the ICMR VRDL network.
