The month of June has brought great relief for crores of sisters of Madhya Pradesh. The 25th installment is going to be released soon under the Chief Minister Ladli Bahna Yojana, in which ₹ 1250 will be transferred to the accounts of about 1.27 crore women. Not only this, this time more than 26 lakh sisters will also be given additional amount for gas cylinder refilling. This good news is for women who are getting financially empowered every month with this scheme.
25th installment will come by 15th
Till now installments were released till the 10th of every month, but since April 2025, the government has extended the date a little further. Now payment will be made around the 15th of every month. In April, on 16th and 15th in May, installments came, in such a situation, it is estimated that the 25th installment can reach the accounts of sisters by 15 June 2025. However, the official date has not been revealed yet.
The amount will increase on Rakshabandhan
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav recently announced at a women’s conference in Mangawan in Rewa district that additional assistance will be given to Ladli sisters on Rakshabandhan. Apart from this, he promised that in the next 3 years the scheme amount will be increased to ₹ 3000 per month.
Plan started in May 2023
The Ladli Bahna Yojana was launched in May 2023 by former CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan, which was aimed at empowering women financially. The initial installment was ₹ 1000, which was later increased to ₹ 1250. Now every year there is a help of up to ₹ 15,000.
Who are women eligible? Know the terms and conditions
To get the benefit of this scheme, the age of the woman should be between 21 and 60 years. Only married women, whether they are widows, divorced or abandoned, are considered eligible. The annual income of the woman or her family should not exceed Rs 2.5 lakh. Also, there should be no taxpayer, government employee or pensioner member in the family. Women who have four -wheelers except tractors or have more than 5 acres of land are also out of this scheme.
Sisters will get gifts on Rakshabandhan
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has announced at the Women’s Self -Help Group Empowerment Conference in Mangawan in Rewa district that in Rakshabandhan, sisters will be given additional amount from this scheme. The amount of this scheme will be increased in 3 years to 3 thousand rupees. Earlier, during a meeting in the table, the CM had announced that the amount of Ladli Bahna scheme will be increased from 1250 to 3 thousand rupees per month. In the coming 5 years, Ladli sisters will be given assistance of up to three thousand rupees per month. When the scheme was started, the government promised that the payment of Rs 1000 would gradually be increased to Rs 3,000 per month.
Ladli Bahna Yojana meets 1250 every month
The Ladli Bahna Yojana was launched in May 2023 by the previous Shivraj Singh Chauhan government.
The main objective of the Ladli Bahna Yojana is to strengthen the women of Madhya Pradesh financially and improve their lives.
Under this scheme, it was decided to give Rs 1000 to married women aged 21 to 60 years and then its first installment was released on June 10.
After this, the amount on Rakshabandhan 2023 was increased to Rs 1250.
Now under this scheme, women get Rs 15,000 annually at Rs 1250 per month.
A total of 24 installments of monthly financial assistance amount have been transferred to Ladli sisters from June 2023 to May 2025. The Ladli sisters of the state have so far received more than 28 thousand crores.
Apart from this, special financial assistance of Rs 250 was also transferred to the beneficiary women in the month of August 2023 and 2024 (2 times).
Know Age/Eligibility/Rules for Ladli Bahna Scheme
All the married women (including widow, divorce and abandoned) are considered eligible for application in 2023 after 1 January 1963 but till 1 January 2000, but till January 1, 2000.
If a woman is under 60 years of age and is already receiving less than Rs 1250 per month under any other social security pension scheme, then the woman will also be given an amount of up to Rs 1250.
Married women include widows, and divorced women. The year in the year, on January 1, the age of the applicant should be completed 21 years and the maximum age should be less than 60 years.
These ineligible of Ladli Bahna Yojana
There should be no taxpayer in women, themselves or their family. The annual income of the family should be Rs 2.5 lakh.
Whose or any members of his family pay income tax.
Whose family member is in government job (permanent, contract or pensioner).
If there is a joint family, then there is no more than 5 acres of land, no person in the family does a government job. There is no tractor, four -wheeler on the house.
Those who are getting an amount of Rs 1250 or more every month from another government scheme.
Who has a current or former MP or MLA in his family.
Whose family members should be the chairman, operator or member of government boards, corporations, divisions etc.
Whose family is survived by a local body (except for Panch and Upasarpanch).
Whose family has more than 5 acres of cultivated land.
Whose four -wheelers (except tractors) are registered in the name of whose family.
