Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has now become active in the case of the murder of married couple Raja Raghuvanshi of Indore in Meghalaya and the disappearance of his wife Sonam Raghuvanshi. He spoke to Union Home Minister Amit Shah about the matter and assured Sonam’s brother Govind Raghuvanshi present in Shillong on the phone.
The family of Raja Raghuvanshi sought help from Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan in this matter. A delegation of Raghuvanshi society also came to meet him, where he got his brother Govind, who was looking for Sonam in Shillong, on the phone.
Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan told Govind, “I am talking to Amit Shah about this whole matter. Will find Sonam and bring it back.”
The Union Minister assured the family that no stone will be left in this matter and every effort will be made for Sonam’s safe return. The matter is now in discussion at the central level and the family hopes that Sonam will be traced soon.
Please tell that Sonam’s brother Govind Raghuvanshi is involved in continuous search operation with the police. On the previous day, he released a video saying, “I am Sonam’s brother. I am feeling that Sonam is still alive. The police is looking for a dead body here, but I request that I do not find a dead body, but searched Sonam. The entire case should be investigated by CBI.”
Govind said that where the king’s body was found, SDRF and NDRF searched the entire area in a deep ditch, but no clue was found so far. Sonam had two mobiles, which have not yet been found. According to the police, the last mobile location of Sonam and Raja was near the Double Decker Living Root Bridge. Govind also told that on May 20, he had a last conversation with Sonam.
He said, “Sonam and Raja had a plan to go to Guwahati in Assam, but do not know how they reached Shillong and when they made this plan? We have never come to Shillong before, yes, had definitely come to see Kamakhya Devi.”
The search for Sonam is going on in this case, but the family and the Raghuvanshi society believe that the truth of this mysterious case will not be revealed without a CBI investigation.
Tourist guide told the scene before disappearance
Sonam and Raja Raghuvanshi, who left for honeymoon, went missing from Shillong in Meghalaya on 23 May. The king’s body was found on 2 June. Police say the king was murdered. In this case, a tourist guide, Albert Pade has given some information. He told that he had seen Sonam and Raja with three others. The incident occurred near the Double Decker Root Bridge in Nong Riyat, Meghalaya. The police is investigating the case and the search for Sonam is going on.
Who is Albert?
Albert Pade, who is a tourist guide of Mavlakhiat village, has given this information to journalists for the first time. Pade told that he had seen Sonam and Raja going towards Mavlakhiat parking with three men. Please tell that the body of the king was found in a ditch. Pade told that on the evening of May 22, he spoke to Sonam and Raja and asked him if he needed a guide. But he refused. The couple reached Mavlakhiat with a two -wheeler on rent from Shillong. The village is the main entrance of the Double Decker Root Bridge in Nong Riyat. A guide named Bha Vansai, who was rented by the couple to leave from Mavlakhiat, was taken to Shipra Homestay in Nong Riyat, where they stayed that night.
Saw the next day at 10 am
Pade told that he saw Sonam and Raja the next day at around 10 am when he was going towards the Double Decker Root Bridge. Both were going towards parking. Sonam was trailing from the king. Raja was having a friendly conversation with three ‘tourists’ and he was talking in Hindi. When asked if he was asked if he saw some suspects, he said, ‘I cannot say because they were talking in Hindi, which I do not understand much. If they were talking in English, I would have understood. When they were returning, I did not talk to the couple, because they did not need a guide. ‘
Incident affects tourism
Talking about this incident, he said, ‘We feel bad, because we have not seen such incidents of crime since childhood. We are afraid of God. The villagers are worried that their name may not be maligned, as the police have reported that the weapon used in the murder was new and had never been used to cut wood before.

Meanwhile, Vansai said that the couple had hired her to leave her in a guest house near the Living Route Bridge. He said, ‘Raja did not talk much in English. Sonam was talking mostly. He further said that the couple refused to take their services as they claimed that they knew the way. He said that he did not see the couple going, but he saw that his scooty was not in parking.

What happened on 23 May?
It is said that the couple checked out of Shipra Homestay at 6 am on 23 May. The next night at around 9 pm, Sardar of Sohra Rim village informed the police about an unclaimed scooty. The authorities discovered its ownership through the e-challan record, which confirmed that it was rented by the missing couple.
What is happening at the moment?
The king’s body was found on the afternoon of 2 June near Woiswdong Falls. Sonam is not yet known. Police have confirmed that the case is now being considered as murder.
