Congress District Panchayat President Sanjay Punhar is again in controversy in Chhindwara. The investigation has started again on the validity of their caste certificate. The complainants allege that they contested on the basis of fake certificate. The matter first went to the SDM and the Collector, but has now reached the Chief Minister’s office.
This causes a stir in administration. Nareshram Gohia and others had earlier complained to the collector. Later this complaint was also sent to the CM office. The Home Department has ordered the Collector to investigate. The complaint has demanded the cancellation of the election of Punhar. Punhar has described it as a political conspiracy. The Deputy District Election Officer has confirmed the investigation. This matter has brought heat in the politics of the district.
Accused of making caste certificate incorrectly
Sanjay Punhar, who is the president of the District Panchayat from the Congress Party in Chhindwara, is once again seen getting caught in trouble. The investigation has started again regarding their caste certificate. It is alleged that he wrongly made a certificate of Scheduled Castes and on the basis of that he contested the election of Zilla Panchayat.

In the month of March, a complaint was made to the SDM and Collector regarding this matter. But now this matter has taken a new turn. They have been accused of using fake Scheduled Caste Certificate in the election. The first complaint in this case was made by Nareshram Gohia and some others to the collector of Chhindwara on 16 April. After this, a complaint was also sent to the CM office on 7 May. Acting on this, on May 27, the Home Department, Madhya Pradesh government ordered the collector of Chhindwara to investigate the matter.
Complainants demand
It has been demanded in the complaint that Sanjay Punhar has wrongly contested the election of the District Panchayat President using the Scheduled Caste certificate. Therefore, this election should be canceled immediately. The collector has been asked to take necessary action on this complaint letter.
Say Sanjay Punhar
Sanjay Punhar has spoken on this whole matter. He said that he had earlier written a letter for investigation in this matter. But now mental pressure is being made on them by writing a letter from Bhopal for investigation. Describing it as a political conspiracy, he said that this letter is not just a coincidence just before the meeting of the General Assembly to be held on Friday, but it is part of a well-planned strategy.
Deputy collector says
Deputy District Election Officer and Deputy Collector Ramesh Kumar Mehra gave information about this. He said that a case related to the caste certificate of the District Panchayat President has come in the CM office. After this, an inquiry has been ordered and it will be investigated as per the rules.
