Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav reached Amaltas Hotel in Pachmarhi on Tuesday and paid tribute to the holy reverence of Korku/ Masi Samaj located here. During this time, members of the Korku tribal society presented the traditional saga dance and gave a grand welcome to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav in the traditional manner of the society.
On this occasion, the 26 -member team made an attractive performance of tribal saga dance with traditional instruments like Dholak, Timki and Jhanjh. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also enthusiastically enthusiastically enhanced the enthusiasm of the tribal artists and announced an amount of 5-5 thousand as an incentive. During the program, senior members of the society also informed Chief Minister Dr. Yadav about the beliefs and historical background of the place of reverence. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also held intimate discussions with Mr. Manish Bhopaji, a descendant of Raja Bhubhut Singh.
Shrimat Guddi Sheelu and Shri Vijay Sheelu of the society said that the structure of the stone located at the Shraddha site is considered extremely sacred in the Korku Masi society. This structure was established by King Bhubht Singh, which is considered a symbol of the ancestors of society. According to the belief, this structure is made of Sapta metal.
Raja Bhabhut Singh Ji was a nature lover and he established this site site in Pachmarhi. This site remains the center of respect in the Korku Masi society. Handmade pictures are carved on the wooden slabs at the reverence, including the shape of the sun and the moon, the picture of the deceased on the horse, their death date, the date of saga and pictures of those ancestors. Similarly, the pictures of the ancestors involving their saga are mentioned, whose saga has not yet been included, the former deceased of the family clan. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav appreciated the cultural heritage of the society and efforts to conserve traditions.
