Historical Mandu is about to change the face of the city. Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board will do development work of about 25 crore rupees here. This will provide facilities to tourists and will boost tourism. Mandu is a popular tourist destination in Indore region. The number of tourists is increasing here. Beautification work is expected to begin after the monsoon. Tourists get good experience, so this work is being done.

Good earning from home stay
Given the increasing number of tourists, many Bhil tribal families have stepped into entrepreneurship. They are running homestay in Malipura area near Dhar. This is earning them. Dinesh Katare, a homestay owner, said that we are very excited about the upcoming tourism season. The training we received has empowered us to share our culture and hospitality with visitors. We are eager to welcome more guests in our home. More families in our village are planning to start homestay, so that their income can increase.
Benefits from rural tourism project
To prepare these families, the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board trained in hospitality and various job roles under the Rural Tourism Project. Under this initiative, 100 villages across the state were identified. The beneficiaries are being helped to develop homestay facilities and increase the offer of locally made products and culinary arts.
Mandu from famous inheritance
Mandu has many attractions for tourists. There are forts, palaces and mosques here. The city is known for its architecture and history. MPTB aims to make Mandu a world class tourist destination. Facilities are being increased for this and efforts are being made to give tourists better experience. The opening of homestay is providing employment to the local people and their income is increasing.
Apart from this, the Department of Tourism is actively partnership to organize annual celebrations in Mandu, Orchha and Tamia. It aims to include entertainment and adventure activities, so that tourism experience can improve further.
