Berla police station of the district has taken major action in the case of ganja. Police seized 103 kg of cannabis worth Rs 10 lakh. In this case, an accused was arrested and sent to jail. Ganje was filled with pickup vehicle and was taking Bhilai from Odisha. Additional SP Jyoti Singh said that on the basis of information, a huge quantity of cannabis was recovered behind the pickup on the pickup vehicle number CG 04 JD 7437 at village Sarda Andu Chowk and after searching.
Accused Mohammad Khan alias Ayaz father Imtiaz Khan aged 24 years resident Fish Market, Power House Bhilai District Durg packed 103 packets packed in a cello tape of Khanki colored Seo tape, a quintal three kg, its price of three kg, its price of ten lakh rupees and one pickup vehicle five lakh rupees has been seized.
