He has announced that his satellite internet service, Starlink, will soon be launched in India, especially available high-speed internet in rural and remote areas.

Starlink’s monthly membership plan will begin at around ₹ 850 ($ 10), much lower than the US price ($ 80). A total bandwidth of 600–700 GBPS will be provided at the beginning of the service, which is planned to increase to 3 TBPS by 2027. Users will have to buy a hardware of about ₹ 29,700, while the premium device can cost up to ₹ 50,000. Starlink is partnered with Indian telecom companies such as Jio, Airtel and Vodafone, making the service directly available to consumers and through internet service providers.
