PM Narendra Modi will address Devi Ahilyabai Women Empowerment General Conference on Jamburi Maidan in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh today. Women will come from 16 districts

At the Hila Empowerment Mahasammelan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will issue a postage stamp and coin dedicated to Lokmata Devi Ahilya Bai. Shri Modi will honor a female artist in the field of tribal, folk and traditional arts with the Rashtriya Devi Ahilyabai Award. On this occasion, the Prime Minister will also observe the exhibition based on the good governance, women empowerment and culture of Lokmata Devi Ahilyabai organized by the Department of Culture.

On Friday, the Finance Ministry has also issued a gazette notification in this regard.
🔸 The quantity of silver in a coin weighing 35 grams will be 50%.
🔸 There will be a photo of Ahilya Bai on one side.
🔸 The 300th birth anniversary of Ahilya Bai Holkar in English will be written on the upper side and the lower periphery. The left and right side will be written 1725-2025.
🔸 On the other hand, the price class will be written 300 with the symbol of rupee below the Ashoka Pillar.
🔸 This will be the first coin to be issued in the country and the world, which has a value of 300 rupees.

Land worship and release
🔸 Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will perform Bhoomi Pujan of construction works for the upcoming Simhastha Mahaparva 2028 from Bhopal on 31 May.

Satna airport
🔸 Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will inaugurate Virtual Satna Airport from Opal on 31 May.

🔸 On 31 October 2024, the construction work of the airport was completed in a record time.
🔸 On 20 December 2024, DGCA issued a license to operate the airport.
🔸 1200 meter runway has been prepared, in which 19 seater aircraft will be able to land easily.
🔸 Parking of two aircraft is available at a time.
🔸 Aerial terminal building, ATC tower, VIP louse, facilities for special needy, and all security arrangements have been completed at 750 sqm area at the airport.
🔸 The total 5.5 km boundary wall of the airport has been prepared for security.
🔸 With the introduction of the airport, the entire Vindhya region including Satna will get new opportunities for development in the industry, tourism, education, and health.
Indore will enter a new era
🔸 Indore, the cleanest city in India, is going to enter a new era. The Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will launch the passenger service on the super priority corridor of Indore Metro from Bhopal on Saturday 31 May 2025. It is about 6 km of the super priority corridor of the Yellow line. This includes five stations Gandhinagar station, super corridor 6 stations, super corridors 5 stations, super corridors 4 stations and super corridor 3 stations. This corridor will reduce traffic and pollution, as well as providing comfortable travel to passengers. The super priority corridor is not only technically important, but is also a symbol of the moving direction towards the modernity of Indore.
31.32 km metro project in Indore
🔸 Indore has a total metro project of 31.32 km length. The project has 22.62 km elevated and 8.7 km underground metro. There will be 28 stations on the Yellow line of the metro, which will make the urban travel easy, fast and environmentally friendly. The cost of the entire project of 31.32 km of the metro is about 7 thousand 500 crores. Initially, the 6 -km corridor is being updated, its cost is around Rs 1520 crore. The project is an important step towards making Indore a modern, environment-friendly city.
