In Madhya Pradesh, prohibiting illegal mining will now be implemented satellite (satellite) based mining monitoring system. The Department of Mineral Instrument had tagged all the mines in the state for this. Which is implemented as a pilot project and a portal has been prepared.
Principal Secretary Mineral Umakant Umrao has issued orders to the District Collectors regarding the implementation of the satellite (satellite) based mining monitoring system. It said that a satellite (satellite) -based mining monitoring system has been developed to control illegal mining of minerals. Under this arrangement, all the mines of the state have been tagged.
It can be accessed by clicking on the portal prepared by the department. The Principal Secretary informed that an alert is being issued by identifying illegal excavation through satellite from this portal. Which can be seen by logging in by the District Collector and District Mineral Officer on the portal.
Login is reported separately in departmental email ID. The information of alert will be given to the District Collector and Mineral Officer through the portal every month by SMS. Instructions have been issued by Principal Secretary Mineral to take action under the transport and storage rules for the collectors to implement the satellite -based mining monitoring system in the district and get illegal mining.

- The alerts issued under the district will be marked on the map, which can be tested on the basis of other mines, geo logical layers and measles.
- The alert issued will be verified by the Mineral Officer and verified through the mobile app.
- Action will be taken under Madhya Pradesh illegal mining, transport and storage rules-2022 if illegal mining is found after field verification.
- Regarding the portal, through VC, officers and employees posted in all district offices have been trained.
Web portal (e-mineral) has been created by NIC to online the activities of the department under information technology in the state. The e-mineral portal has been linked with the portal of the Transport Department. With this, the lesser/transporters can register online vehicles on the e-mineral portal to transport minerals. Under Digital India, the department has successfully implemented the services of the online transportation papers (E-TP) for transporting minerals from the e-mineral portal. Under this system, any lesser can get E-TP after paying royalty and other amount. Provision has been made for online registration of vehicles engaged in the transport of minerals.
Services operations in 55 districts
Online e-TP through e-mineral portal in 55 districts of the state Services have been implemented. Positive results of this system are being achieved. Also, information about illegal mining, transport and storage is being obtained as MIS report. With the implementation of E-TP, online royalty is being paid by the lessee. This has also fulfilled the intention of cashless trunction. E-registration of vehicles to be transported to effectively curb illegal mining of minerals, transportation, storage has been made mandatory. Under the Ease of Doing Business, the system of depositing various applications through online e-mineral portal has been implemented. The departmental portal is providing information about mineral exploration and mines to the common man.
Naveen Portal e-mineral 2.0 from good governance and Ease of Doing Business Various procedures are being simplified under. The new portal e-mineral 2.0 is being developed by the department to provide various services related to the department from single winds. Under this, online arrangements will be provided for submission of applications and resolving it. Various services can be made available from mobile app to public and leasers on mobile. Online platforms will also be made available to solve the problems of the leasers and citizens.
