7 professors involved in the case of forcing students of Guru Ghasidas Central University to offer Namaz at NSS camp have not been relieved from the High Court. In view of the seriousness of the case, the High Court has rejected two petitions filed to cancel the FIR lodged in the case.

The Division Bench of Chief Justice Rakesh Sinha has rejected the petition seeking the cancellation of the FIR filed against themselves by the professors. On the complaint of the students, a case has been registered against the university teachers under sections 190,196 (1) (b), 197 (1) (b), 197 (1) (1) (C), 29,302 and others in Kota police station.

Please tell that the NSS unit at Central University had installed a camp in Shivatrai village from March 26 to April 1, 2025. During the camp, coordinators Dilip Jha, Madhulika Singh, Suryabhan Singh, Dr. Jyoti Verma, Prashant Vaishnav, Basant Kumar and Dr. Neeraj Kumari forced Hindu students to offer prayers on the day of Eid.
