Russia
Diplomatic tension globally has reached its peak due to the Russia-Ukraine war. US President Donald Trump has warned him of “not playing with fire”, making a scathing attack against Russian President Vladimir Putin. Trump clearly said that if Putin did not change his stance, it could be “very bad for Russia”. Russian Security Council Vice President and former President Dimitri Medvedev directly threatened the US and said- “The answer to what Trump said is a really bad thing-the third world war (World War III). Hopefully Trump understands it!
Why Trump warned warning
The whole matter has been provoked after recent Russian attacks and bombing on Ukraine. Posting on his social media platform “Truth Social”, Trump said: “Putin is completely mad. He is playing with fire. If I had been a President, I would have been very bad for Russia by now. And I mean very bad.” He also appealed to the international community to take strict steps, calling Russia’s behavior “crime against humanity”.
Russia’s World War 3 threatened
Dimitri Medvedev, who is considered very close to Putin, wrote on X (East Twitter): “Trump ‘is talking about fire -playing’ and ‘bad results’. We just know a really bad thing.” This statement of Russia is being seen as a direct military threat, which shows that Kremp is no longer taking the trumps.
Preparation of US sanctions
The US and Western countries allege that Putin is deliberately obstructing peace talks and wants to prolong the conflict. Russia claims that it is only responding to Ukrainian attacks and the US is providing weapons and money to prolong this war. According to reports from Wall Street Journal and CNN, Trump’s team may announce new sanctions on Russia this week. Trump told reporters on Sunday: “We are seriously considering imposing more strict economic restrictions on Russia.” These sanctions are likely to target oil trade, Russian banks, and close people of Putin.
Tension of analysts
Analysts believe that such open threats and warnings between Trump and Russia are a serious threat to global peace. Former United Nations diplomat Alex Ross said, “Such statements can create more provocation in unstable areas. Even though the language of Trump is electoral, Russia can consider it a military challenge.” The sharp rhetoric between Donald Trump and Russia is no longer limited to diplomacy. Trump’s “fire” warning against Putin and the threat of Russia’s “World War 3” may once again push the world towards cold war 2.0.
