Kaveri Dhimar, daughter of Mandi, a small village in Bhairunda tehsil of Sehore district, is a successful daughter who did not give up in difficult conditions and has illuminated not only her but not only her but the state and country in the whole world.
Para Kaveri has inscribed her name in golden letters in the field of sports with her hard work and difficult struggle. Hardly anyone would have heard such a difficult struggle and success story. Daughter Cauvery won more than 50 medals at the national and international level at the Canoeing Games and illuminated the name of the country. Kaveri has won the bronze medal at the Asian Championship, with 45 gold, 6 silver and 3 bronze medals in the National Championship. Madhya Pradesh’s daughter Kaveri, who once used to catch fish in Narmada to repay her father’s debt, today is the same daughter in Indian Navy. Currently, Cauvery is serving the country by working as AGPO (PT) officer in the Indian Navy.
Kaveri has 11 members in the family, including 7 sisters and 2 brothers, including parents. Kaveri’s father used to take fish in Narmada and nurture his family. When the family became difficult due to weak economic condition and low income, the father took a loan. Daughter Kaveri became the support of her father in repaying this debt. When a sports officer saw Cauvery while driving a boat in water, he inspired Cauvery to train in the Canoeing Games. The sports officer took Kaveri to the Water Sport Academy Bhopal for training. After this, Kaveri made his skills his passion. Cauvery won more than 50 medals at the national and international level at the Canoeing Games and illuminated the name of the country.
Daughter Kaveri was selected in the Indian Navy in sports quota last year. Kaveri’s parents are very happy about this success of their daughter. Cauvery’s father says that the struggle with which daughter Kaveri has achieved this success, we did not even think in dreams, in reality like Kaveri. The story of daughter Kaveri’s life is not just a success story, but it is a living example of women empowerment. Despite financial constraints, social challenges and limited resources, Kaveri did not give up.
