CM SAI handed over the keys of PM AWAS to Birhor women


The Chief Minister (CM) Vishnu Dev Sai (SAI) today handed over the keys of pucca houses to five women including women of special backward tribe under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana after a review meeting in Raigad.

On this occasion, he provided keys of their new residence to Dilmat Bai, Gurwari Bai and Shaniro Bai of Birhor (Birhor) tribe of Kida village of Dharmajayagarh development block. Along with this, Gitanjali Sidar of Banora village in Raigad district and Pink Yadav of Kukurda village also got the benefit of the housing scheme. The faces of all the beneficiaries blossomed happily after receiving the key of the residence in the hands of the Chief Minister. Expressing happiness, he expressed his gratitude to the Chief Minister Mr. Sai and the government.

The Chief Minister said that the Prime Minister’s Housing (PM AWAS) scheme is an important and public interest scheme to provide firm houses to the poor. The priority of the government is that every eligible person should get housing to live life honorably. Under this, a large number of needy families have been benefited by now and the eligible eligible beneficiaries will get housing through the housing plus 2 scheme.
