The country’s most advanced transformer will now become in Raipur


Investment proposal of more than Rs 300 crore

New Delhi/Raipur

Chhattisgarh is going to make another big jump towards realizing the dream of developed India. The country’s prestigious company Karamvir Electronics Limited presented a proposal to set up a state -of -the -art transformer construction unit in Raipur to Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai. More than Rs 300 crore will be invested in this unit, which will include the name of Chhattisgarh in the country’s largest transformer manufacturing centers.

On this occasion, the managing director of the company Mr. Vivek Jain met the Chief Minister in Chhattisgarh Sadan, New Delhi. The meeting was discussed in detail the outline of the proposed project, investment possibilities and the dimensions of employment generation. Shri Jain informed that this unit will be technically the most advanced transformer manufacturing unit in the country, which will prove to be a milestone in meeting the needs of the energy sector in the future.

Welcoming the investment proposal, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai said, “Our goal is to create a strong pillar in the construction of Chhattisgarh, developed India 2047. This investment is not just an industrial unit, but a strong step towards the technical capacity and self -sufficiency of Chhattisgarh. The state government will provide all possible assistance to the project.”

The project will accelerate modernization of electricity sector in the state, employment for local youth, and industry based development. In particular, this initiative strengthens the slogan of “Make in Chhattisgarh”, where now transformers made with state -of -the -art technology will work to illuminate the whole country. Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Subodh Singh, Ritu Sen, Investment Commissioner of Chhattisgarh was also present on the occasion.
