Chhattisgarh is going to take a big step in the digital scenario of the country. Technology company ESDS Software Solution LTD has proposed an investment of more than Rs 600 crore to the Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai to set up a state -of -the -art Artificial Intelligence based data center in Raipur.
During the meeting with the Chief Minister at the Chhattisgarh Sadan in New Delhi, the Chairman of the company Mr. Piyush Somani and Vice President Mr. Lokesh Sharma said that this center will give impetus to the digital future of Chhattisgarh not only, but the whole of India. Through this proposal, there will be concrete initiative to make Chhattisgarh a leading state in the fields of AI, Cloud Technology, Cyber Security and Digital Storage.
Welcoming the proposal, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai said, “This investment will prove to be a milestone to put the spirit of Digital India on the ground in Chhattisgarh. The government will provide all possible help so that the project takes this project as soon as possible.”
This initiative of ESDS will create Chhattisgarh a technology hub as well as create new level employment opportunities for the youth. This center will strengthen the state’s IT Ecosystem and will be a major step towards digital self -reliance. Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Subodh Singh, Ritu Sen, Investment Commissioner of Chhattisgarh was also present on the occasion.
