Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai and his wife Kaushalya Sai on Wednesday attended the Pran Pratishtha program after renovation of the ancient Jagannath Temple of Village Darka of Kansabel development block. He worshiped Lord Jagannath and prayed for the happiness and prosperity of the state by worshiping the happiness and prosperity of the state. The villagers are participating extensively in the works of Dharma Karma.
It is noteworthy that Lord Jagannath’s Rath Yatra is being taken out in Dora from 1942. The Rath Yatra was started by Pandit Sudarshan Satpathy of Dora village and his wife Sushila Satpathy.
The temple was built in 1968. Due to the dilapidated temple, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai and his wife Smt. Kaushalya Sai took a pledge in the past year that Lord Jagannath will build a newly built building to perform the temple and fulfill the resolve of the Chief Minister, he has also thanked the villagers for cooperation.
From May 21, Vishal Meena Bazaar will also be organized daily.
During this time several religious programs are being organized from 21 to 27 May.
According to the religious program organized, Kalash Yatra was taken out from Mani River Bagia to the temple premises on 21 May.
