Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav reached Lalbagh Palace, the historic site of Indore on Tuesday and garlanded the statue of Subedar Malharrao Holkar, the founder of the Holkar dynasty. He performed the land-worship of the renovation and garden redevelopment work of Lalbagh Palace at a cost of Rs 47.59 crore. He also visited the Lalbagh Palace, where he visited the historical structure and beauty of the palace.

Taking stock of the progress of the effort work to conserve this historical heritage, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav got information about the characteristics of the meeting room, crown hall, bainket hall, court hall, kings office, consultation room, western meeting room, Indian dining room male and women, ball room etc. Architect Puneet Sohal gave a presentation of the Lalbagh Palace project. He made Chief Minister Dr. Yadav aware of the work done for the renovation and redevelopment of Lalbagh Palace and the upcoming action plan.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav wished to successfully complete this ambitious work. This task is a symbol of a new beginning for the rich history of Lalbagh and its reputation. This work will be done with the aim of keeping the heritage of gardens and Holkers alive, developing the garden as a socio-cultural activity site and re-developing according to the composition based on historical concept. For this, approval of 47.59 crore has been received under Simhastha item. This work will be done by Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation. The work deadline is scheduled for 24 months, May 2027. It will work for boundary wall, pathway, parking, soft scapping and irrigation, publicity, ticket counter, garden cafes, Muktakash Manch, Mandap, Rani Ahilya Bai Self -Defense Center (for girls), botanical defense planets, external electrification, decorative light pillars, pipe music system, CCTV etc.

Members of the Council of Ministers and other public representatives were also present on this important occasion, who supported the government’s resolve to the importance and development of the project.
