Human initiative of Naveen Jindal – 20,000+ Jindal Steel employees will give one day salary for rehabilitation of border villages

Raipur
While the historical success of Operation Sindoor, under the guidance of the country’s famous Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, filled the country with pride, while thousands of citizens living in the border areas of Jammu and Kashmir are facing a severe humanitarian crisis. Innocent people died in the barbaric shelling by the Pakistani army and destroyed their house.

In such a difficult time, Mr. Naveen Jindal, chairman of Jindal Steel and Lok Sabha MP from Kurukshetra, has taken a pledge to cooperate in the rehabilitation of these aggrieved families while taking a sensitive and human initiative.

Under this initiative, Mr. Naveen Jindal has announced to provide assistance for relief and rehabilitation works. This cooperation includes more than 20,000 employees of Jindal Steel Group voluntarily paying their one -day salary. This assistance is a personal obligation as well as a collective national duty.

Mr. Jindal said, “Our citizens living on the border are no less than soldiers. Their courage, patience and sacrifice are inspiring. Today when they are in difficulty, it is the moral and national duty of all of us to help them. We appeal to the countrymen to contribute to this sacred work.”

Significantly, after the brutal murder of innocent citizens in the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on 22 April, India took decisive action against the terrorist bases located across the border through Operation Sindoor. During this time many Indian villages were affected in the shelling done by Pakistan, which displaced many citizens.

This contribution of Jindal Steel is not a new example. Earlier, the company had done many relief work from oxygen supply to free food distribution across the country during the Kovid-19 crisis and contributed Rs 25 crore to the PM Care Fund. The company also assisted in the 2013 Uttarakhand disaster. In this way, Jindal Steel has stood with the nation in every crisis.
This decision of Shri Naveen Jindal is not only a financial assistance, but also a proof of his deep love and social responsibility from the country. It is necessary to assure our citizens of the border areas that the country stands with them in this hour of crisis.
This solidarity of the Jindal Steel family is not only a solid step towards rehabilitation, but it also makes the spirit of nation service alive – this resolution is the foundation of a strong and united India.
