State Finance Minister OP Chaudhary reached Jagrgunda in Sukma district today, where he joined the Samadhan camp and met local villagers and inquired about their problems. During this time he made several important announcements for the development of Jagrgunda region.

Addressing the Samadhan Camp, Finance Minister OP Chaudhary said that since the formation of the government, the purchase rate of Tendupatta has been increased to Rs 5500 per standard sack. At the same time, under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, an amount of Rs 1 lakh 20 thousand is being given to the villagers for the construction of the house.

He remembered that about 12-13 years ago, when I was jointly the Collector of Dantewada district, Sukma also used to come in Dantewada district, then for the safe future of children, I started schemes like education city, ‘Chuay Akash’, ‘Flying Parinde’ and Livelihood College for the safe future of children. Today it is getting very good and positive results. Through this, we started bringing positive changes in the lives of children. He said that there was a time when we could have come to Palanar by road. After that, due to the continuous efforts of our government, today we are reaching Jagrgunda directly without stopping. It was my dream that I should go through the Jagragunda road and today my dream came true.

Minister Chaudhary said that the State Gramin Bank here 25 years ago was looted by the Naxalites, currently the Indian Overseas Bank has been established for the convenience of the public due to the formation of our government. Now all your banking work will now be done in Jagrgunda.

*Finance Minister OP Chaudhary made major announcements for the development of Jagrguda:*

* Reservoir construction:* On the demand of villagers, the reservoir will be constructed at a cost of Rs 2 crore for irrigation facility in Jagrgunda.

* Mini Stadium:* Mini Stadium will be established for sports development of regional youth.

* Middle School:* A new middle school will be constructed to further strengthen the reach of education.

* Bank facility:* Indian Overseas Bank has been established in Jagrgunda after years, so that local people will now get banking facilities here.

* Communication and Transport Facility:* Connectivity will be established in network -less areas under the Chief Minister Mobile Tower Scheme and bus service will be started under Sugam Traffic Scheme.

The Finance Minister said that he wants the children of this region to become collector, SP, doctors, engineers and play an active role in the development of society and country.

State Women’s Commission member Sudeepika Sori, Collector Sukma Devesh Kumar Dhruv, District Panchayat CEO Mrs. Namrata Jain, Bank Regional Manager Gaurishankar Nayak, ASP Umesh Gupta, SDM Sabab Khan, public representatives, district members and a large number of villagers were present on the occasion.
