BCCI’s ‘Asia Cup strike’ now, India will take a shock of 200 crores due to India’s bets

New Delhi
The atmosphere between India and Pakistan is going very bad. It started with a terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir, India last month. The terrorist attack in Pahalgam by Pakistan killed 26 innocent tourists. He was taken to death by asking his name. Due to this, the fire of revenge had failed all over India. India responded to this nefarious work of Pakistan through Operation Sindoor.

On the night of 6 and 7 May, India destroyed many terrorists bases in Pakistan. After this, the atmosphere became even more serious due to military conflict between the two countries. The ongoing IPL in India was also suspended for a week. However, after that there was a ceasefire between the two countries.

Due to all this, the relationship between India and Pakistan once again became very bad. Hindustan is opposing Pakistan everywhere. Due to this, now India is fully forwarded to opposing Pakistan at cricket level.

BCCI disturbed Pakistan
According to the report, after the recent struggle between India and Pakistan, the BCCI has withdrawn its names from the upcoming women’s emerging teams Asia Cup and the Mains Asia Cup 2025. That is, the Indian team will not participate in both competitions. Please tell that Mains Asia Cup was to be held in India this time. However, this tournament can also be canceled after India is pulled because most of the sponsors are from India.

Pakistan will suffer heavy losses due to India absence

Let us know that the previous edition of the Asia Cup was played in 2023 in ODI format. It was hosted by Pakistan. But India refused to go to Pakistan, due to which all the matches of Team India were played under the hybrid model in Sri Lanka. Pakistan had to suffer a lot of damage due to this.

Now if India opposed Pakistan and refuses to play the Asia Cup, then Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) may suffer heavy financial losses. According to a report by Business Today, India’s participation in the Asia Cup and ICC events gives PCB an estimated ₹ 165–220 crore ($ 20–26 million) per cycle. These matches are very much earning globally and regularly attracts record-breaking viewership and huge premiums from advertisers compared to India-Pakistan.

The Broadcasting Rights of the Asia Cup’s 2024–2032 were sold to Sony Pictures Network India in a huge amount of $ 170 million, mainly due to India’s participation. The biggest attraction of the tournament without India, the deal may re -negotiate and its price may be reduced significantly – which will weaken the revenue pool and reduce the PCB share. Currently each full ACC member gets 15% of broadcasting income.
