The Indore Municipal Corporation had been preparing for four months before the survey. The survey lasted for eight days in March, but despite the passage of one and a half months of the survey, the results have not come yet. Apart from Indore this time, Surat and Navi Mumbai are also in the number one ranking race. Last year, Surat city received a joint award with Indore.
This time Indore has been included in the Premier League. It also has Surat and Navi Mumbai. The scale of cleanliness assessment in all three cities was different. Last year, all three cities were in Top Three, although this time at the time of survey, Indore’s cleanliness was weak. At the time of surrealing, Indore could get less number due to the city’s dirty beklane. This time the city’s drains could not be free from pollution.
Some drains may be temporarily cleaned, but silt, dirt and garbage are seen in the drains throughout the year. In this case, Indore can get less number. Indore will find the highest number in door to door garbage collection in the rankings. This system is better than all other cities in Indore. People themselves throw separate garbage. The biggest strength in Indore’s cleanliness is the public participation of the people. People keep garbage in homes and institutions. Do not throw them in the open.
