Russia has bombing its biggest drone ever on Ukraine. Ukraine officials said the attack is the biggest aerial attack since the onset of the war. After the attack, the scene of destruction has come to the fore in Ukrainian cities. At least one woman died and several people were injured in the Kiev area. Ukrainian officials gave this information on Sunday. Russia fired 273 drones in this attack. According to Ukraine’s Air Force, Russia targeted most of the attacks of the central region of the Kiev and the eastern parts of the country, Dyniprophevsk and the Donec areas. Earlier in February 2025, Russia carried out 267 drone attacks, which was then a record.
Peace talks failed in Türkiye
Recently, peace talks between Russia-Ukraine in Istanbul after three years failed. Both sides compromised only the exchange of prisoners, but there was no agreement on the ceasefire. US President Donald Trump on Monday announced a conversation with Russia President Putin and Ukraine President Jailonsky.
A 28 -year -old woman was killed in the Obukhiv district of Kieve area in the early hours of Sunday, while at least three people, including a 4 -year -old child, were injured. All the injured are hospitalized. Many residential buildings were also damaged in this attack.
Ukraine claims- 88 drones killed
Ukrainian air defense forces killed 88 drones, while 128 fake drones fell without harming. Warnings of an air strike continued for nine hours in Kiev and its surrounding areas. “Russia has always resorted to war to threaten at the time of talks,” said Andrei Kolarnco, head of Ukraine’s Disinformation Center, said.
On the previous day, a bus was attacked in the Sumi area of Ukraine in the Russian drone attack, killing nine common citizens. Ukraine’s President Jailonsci, calling it a “deliberate attack”, has demanded strict ban on Russia. Russia, however, claimed that they had targeted a military hideout.
