Many people burnt alive in Hyderabad, a fierce fire in Gulzar House near Charminar


Hyderabad

A fierce fire broke out on Sunday in a building of Gulzar House near the historic Charminar in Telangana. Eight people died in the accident. A senior official of a private hospital here said that eight people were brought in dead state. Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy expressed grief over the incident. He instructed senior officials to take all necessary measures to save the people trapped in the building.

Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy also reached the spot
According to an official of the fire department, he received a call at around 6.30 am. After this he reached the spot. During this time many people were found unconscious. He was admitted to hospitals. After visiting the spot, Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy told the media that the police told that eight people had died in the fire accident. Some children are also included in the dead.

Telangana BJP President G Kishan Reddy said, ‘Some people have died and some are injured in an accident due to a short circuit in a building of Gulzar House near Charminar today. The incident occurred around 6 am. Such incidents are very sad. People here said that the fire department did not have complete equipment. I will talk to the central government and the Prime Minister and will try to provide financial assistance to the families of those who have died in this incident.

About 20 people were taken to hospital
An AIMIM MLA at the scene told the media that according to initial reports, about 20 people have been taken to the hospital. An official release issued by the CMO said that instructions have been issued to send the injured to hospitals immediately and to ensure proper medical treatment.
