PVR is in trouble earlier also

This is not the first time that people have to face problems due to PVR. Earlier, a person from Bangalore had filed a lawsuit accusing PVR cinema and INOX of wasting time by showing excessive advertisements before the film. Complainant Abhishek MR attended the screening of Sam Bahadur at PVR cinema on 26 December 2023.

The scheduled time of the film was at 4.05 pm, but after 25 minutes of advertisement, it started at 4.30 pm. This disturbed his schedule, as he planned to return to work soon after the film. The court termed this method as an unprocessed trade practice and ordered the PVR-Inox to stop the advertisement from the scheduled time.
