The Toyota C-HR has a lithium-ion battery of 74.7 kwh, which can cover a distance of 467 km once charged. It has a dual-motor all-wheel drive (AWD) setup, which gives a combined output of 338 horsepower. The company claims that this SUV can catch a speed of 0 to 100 km/h in just 5 seconds.
Toyota C-HR-Ev: Fast charging and smart features
The Toyota C-HR EV is equipped with an 11 kW on-board AC charger. It has a NACS charging port, so that level-3 DC fast charging is also possible. With this, the car can be charged from 10% to 80% in just 30 minutes. It also supports level one and level to charging.
Climate Friendly Battery Technology
In order to maintain battery performance in cold weather, it has a battery pre-conditioning system. This system works in both manual and automatic mode and makes fast charging more effective.

The price of Toyota C-HR EV can start at about $ 42,000 (about 36 lakh rupees) in the US. Its sale is expected to start from 2026.
Expectations about launch in India
Although this model has not been confirmed in India, it is being speculated that after Maruti E-Vitara, Toyota can also introduce its electric SUV on this platform in India. In such a situation, it can give a new place to the electric SUV segment in India.
