Then the notorious Sabina Sheikh, known as ‘Drugs Queen’, was arrested in large quantities with cocaine and cash. A total of 14.868 kg of cocaine was recovered in this action of Unit-1 (Kashimira) of Meera-Bhayander-Vasai Virar Police Commissionerate, which was estimated to be around Rs 22.33 crore in the international market.
After Sabina’s arrest, the investigation of the case was carried forward, which had shocking revelations. On the behest of Sabina, the Crime Branch arrested Nigerian citizen Andy Ubabubike Onanse, with a 2.604 kg cocaine (price 3.90 crore rupees) and large quantity of cash from the house.
After this, the police also arrested a foreign woman Christbel NJE from Evercent Nagar in Vasai. Cocaine, Indian currency and foreign currency (including American dollars) were recovered from him from him. Christbel NJE revealed that he is a citizen of Cameron. Sabina’s network extends to Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Palghar, Pune and Nashik. She handled a large network without doubt as an Indian citizen and worked as an important link among foreign suppliers.
