Olympic gold medalist spear throw athlete Neeraj Chopra has got a big responsibility in the Indian Army. Neeraj Chopra has been given the title of Lieutenant Colonel in the Territorial Army. Neeraj Chopra is one of the best players in the world in the javelin throw Neeraj Tokyo has won the gold medal in the Jewelin throw for India in the Olympics 2020. Now he has been given the post of Lieutenant Colonel in the Indian Army.

He also won the silver medal at the Paris Olympics of 2024.

Neeraj Chopra will participate in the 71st Olelen Janusz Kusosinski Memorial Competition in Chorjov, Poland on May 23, after the proposed NC Classic was postponed next week in Bengaluru. The double Olympic medalist Neeraj was to participate in the NC Classic with some other star players from all over the world and India and also hosting the competition on 24 May but was postponed due to military confrontation between India and Pakistan.

Neeraj in Chorjov will face the challenge of local players such as two -time world champion and Paris Olympic bronze medalist Granada Granada, Julian Weber of Germany and Marsin Krukovski, national record holder of Poland, besides Cyprian Mergeiglode and David Vegenar.
