Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma, who retired from Test cricket, reached Vrindavan on Tuesday morning. Here he met Sant Premanand Maharaj at Sri Rade Hit Kelly Kunj Ashram. During this time both of them took blessings from Sant Maharaj and participated in spiritual discussion. This is considered to be his first public presence after retirement. After retirement, he reached Vrindavan in search of spiritual peace directly.
Virat retired from Test cricket on Monday
Virat announced his retirement from Test cricket on Monday through Instagram Post. He had confirmed a stop to his 14 -year Test career through an emotional post. Virat had said that he has taken a lot of lesson from this format. Virat has already retired before T20 International and will now be seen playing only in ODIs. Virat is also a part of the Royal Challengers Bangalore team in IPL 2025 and after a few days he will join the RCB team and will try to make the team champion for the first time.
Kohli-Anushka stayed for three and a half hours in the ashram of Saint Premanand
Kohli and Anushka spent more than three and a half hours in the ashram of Saint Premanand. Both reached the ashram at around six in the morning and left from there at around 9.30 am. This is not the first time that Virat has come to meet Saint Premanand. He had earlier visited to meet in January 2023 in January this year. Now after retiring from Test cricket, he had a thorough discussion with Saint Premanand. During this, Virat asked how to get out of failure? On this, Premanand said that continue to practice.
