Inauguration of development works costing 169 crore in Balaghat

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also visited the exhibition of development works done in Balaghat district in the Jal Ganga Promotion Campaign at the ceremony. He inaugurated 93 development works costing Rs 169 crore and performed land-worship. These include Ayurvedic College. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav laid the foundation of the 51st Ayurvedic College of the state in Balaghat. MPs Mrs. Bharti Pardhi, MLA Lanji Rajkumar Karrahe, MLA Varasivani Vicky Patel, MLA Gaurav Pardhi, former minister Pradeep Jaiswal and Ramkishore Kavre were present on the occasion.

There is a lot of wealth related to Ayurveda here. Nursing and paramedical courses will also be run in Ayurvedic College. There was a time when there were only 5 medical colleges of allopathy in Madhya Pradesh till the year 2002-03. Now their number in the state is 30. Apart from this, 8 more new medical colleges are about to open.

First road in the country being built in Balaghat in PM Janman Abhiyan

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that emphasis is also being laid on road development in Balaghat. The first road in the country in the PM Janman Abhiyan is being built in Balaghat, which is 23 km long. Our government is trying to improve the lives of the poor to the poor by giving homes to the homeless. An agricultural fair will be held in Narsinghpur on 26 May. Many important information will be provided to the farmers here. The state government is arranging for storage and vastion of other vegetables including tomatoes. They have been given benefits from farmers by purchasing Rs 2600 per quintal wheat. The campaign is going on till 30 June for water conservation and promotion. All water sources including ponds, river, well, stepwell are being protected in Balaghat.

The state government is giving more than 30 lakh solar pumps to farmers on only 10 percent amount. Farmers will be benefited by purchasing additional power. The state government has launched Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Kamdhenu Yojana to give more benefits to the farmers. Farmers should also increase income from milk production along with farming. The government will buy milk, farmers will get money daily. A target has been set to increase milk production from 9 percent to 20 percent in the state. With this, the government has increased the grant of Rs 20 per cow grant for cowsheds to Rs 40. The state government has also started the Vrindavan Gram Yojana. Efforts are being made to provide employment to the youth in the village itself.
