IPL 2025 Reschedule: Three matches will be held in Jaipur

After a ceasefire between India and Pakistan, there has been a major change in the schedule of Indian Premier League. Rajiv Khanna, Vice President of Rajasthan Royals, has informed that now a total of three IPL matches will be held in Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.

In view of the changing situation, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will now play the first match between Rajasthan Royals and Punjab Super Kings (RR vs PBKs) in Jaipur. After this, two other matches which were earlier to be held in Punjab have also been shifted to Jaipur.

BCCI postponed some of IPL matches

In fact, due to the recently increased tension between India and Pakistan, the BCCI had postponed some of the IPL matches. Due to this, the match played in Dharamshala in Punjab also had to be canceled. Keeping in mind the security situation, the BCCI has now decided to hold the remaining matches in 6 cities of the country including Jaipur.

Rajasthan will now shift to the matches to be held in Punjab

Under this, the matches in Punjab have now been completely transferred to Jaipur. Due to this, now against Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians, Punjab Super Kings will be played in Jaipur itself.

At present, the BCCI has not taken any final decision on the location of qualifier, eliminator and final matches. There is a possibility that their sites will be announced as soon as the situation is normal. With this change of the board, the cricket lovers of Jaipur will once again get a chance to enjoy exciting matches.
