More than 42 lakh students participating in the Secondary and Senior Secondary Exams from the CBSE board, as well as their parents are eagerly waiting for the release of the results, which is over. The result of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) 12th class has been released on Tuesday. In this, a total of 88.39 percent (88.39 Percent) students (Boys) have passed.
Let us tell you that CBSE 12th Result 2025 has been released by the board. After this, now CBSE 10th Result 2025 will be announced. The 12th result of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) can be declared at any time. Meanwhile, CBSE has released the pass percentage of 12th. In the 12th board exam, 91.64 percent of the girls have passed, while only 85.70 percent of the boys (BOYS) have been passed in the 12th examination.
Pass percentage improvement, 88.39% students succeeded
This year 17,04,367 students had registered for the examination, out of which 16,92,794 students appeared in the examination and 14,96,307 were declared passed. As a result, the total passing percentage was 88.39%, which is 0.41% higher than the previous year’s 87.98%.
33% marks mandatory for passing
According to CBSE rules, students will have to get at least 33% marks in all subjects to pass the exam and in total. This criteria remains the same according to every year.
Marksheet is also available from Digilocker
CBSE has also provided results and digital marksheets through Digilocker application for students and schools. For this, students will have to get 6 marks access code from school and log in to Digilocker. The results of class 12th have been released by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). 88.39 percent students have passed the examination.
The students can check the results by going to the official website of the board cbseresults. In total this year, more than 44 lakh students have given board examinations. Class 10 examinations ended on March 18, while the final examination of class 12th was held on 4 April.
If a student has failed in one or two subjects after the result is released, then they do not need to be upset. After the release of such students, they can pass the exam this year by participating in the compartment exam and can save their year from getting spoiled.

CBSE has informed the students that students can check their scorecard official websites – CBSE Apart from this, students can also get their digital marksheets and certificates through the Digilocker app. The board will share Digilocker login ID and access code by sending SMS to the registered mobile number of students, making them easily login. With this, students can also get results through UMANG app and SMS service.
Grade will be available in score card according to Relative Grading
Talking about a major change, from this time the board has implemented the new grading system ‘Relative Grading’, which is different from the old fixed grading pattern. Earlier students used to get grades based on the limit of fixed marks (eg 91–100 = A1), but now the students’ grades will be fixed based on the average performance of their classmates. Its purpose is to reduce the educational pressure on students and balance competition.
