The action of widening the routes before Simhastha-2028 is likely to start from today. The widening will be done by removing the affected parts of the buildings in the part from the Shree Ganesh VD Cloth Market to Teliwada intersection. The Municipal Corporation has completed the last action like issuing the notice, and the last action of the filen central lining and marking in the affected parts of the buildings.
Widening in pieces
VD Cloth Market (Biawani), Teliwada to Dhaba Road to Chhoti Pulia and from coal gate to Chhatri Chauk to Chhatri Chhak. Both routes will be widened in pieces so that the residents do not face much trouble. On Saturday, the corporation team made the final central lining from the coal gate to the Kanthal intersection on the Chhatri Chouk Marg. Similarly, red marks were placed on lining and affected parts of buildings from Biawani intersection to Teliwada intersection under the route from VD Cloth Market to Chhoti Pulia.
Now the corporation team will call for the removal of the affected parts of the buildings by announcing in the area. The corporation will take action and remove the marked parts. The corporation’s staff is preparing to enter the field with machines on Monday for widening. The beginning will be in Teliwada intersection from VD Cloth Market. In about 750 meters, the corporation will remove those parts of buildings which are coming under the width of widening.
Stir in residents, started emptying the place
There was a stir among the people of the area during the action of marking. Everyone kept looking closely and kept asking that when widening will begin. Some people also had objections to Natiti, which was re -demarcated. Here some people have voluntarily started emptying the affected part of the building. Both the routes that are to be widened are the main markets with the busiest route of the old city. Most of these routes is commercial. In such a situation, during the widening action, the traffic system of the area is expected to be very affected. Traffic will be diverted.
Buildings will break from 5 to 10 feet
Under the widening, there are scars in buildings on both sides of the road with central lining. On this basis, 5 feet of a building and more than 10 feet of someone is coming under the width of widening. Many of the buildings marked in the action are being affected by 50 to 65 percent.

Notices have been issued to the concerned building owners regarding widening. Action is taken to mark the affected parts of the buildings with central lining. In the first phase, widening will be done from VD Cloth Market to Teliwada intersection.
