Minister Sarang gave instructions to municipal corporation officials to clean all the drains of Bhopal

Cooperative Minister Shri Vishwas Kailash Sarang on Sunday inspected the drainage system at Prabhat intersection of Narela Assembly under a large cleanliness drive of drains in Bhopal city and gave necessary guidelines to the municipal officials. Minister Shri Sarang informed that a massive cleanliness drive has been started to ensure that waterlogging situation is not created in the monsoon. He said that under this campaign, cleanliness of all the drains of Bhopal city will be ensured. Also, a public awareness campaign will also be launched to ensure that people do not put garbage in the drains. During the inspection, the residents of Bhopal Municipal Corporation, including local public representatives, were present.

All the drains of Bhopal will be clear before the monsoon
Minister Shri Sarang said that this time the Meteorological Department has predicted that the monsoon will enter Bhopal a week in advance. In view of this, a campaign has been started for the cleanliness of all the drains of Bhopal city. He said that every year the pre -monsoon municipal corporation cleanliness campaign runs. Minister Shri Sarang instructed that this work should be started in advance. This will complete the cleaning work on time and will not create a situation of waterlogging in future.

Minister Shri Sarang emphasized on public awareness and waste management
Minister Shri Sarang said that proper cleaning of drains will be ensured through machines and it will also be taken care that the residents of the areas where the drains are located nearby, should be instructed not to put garbage in the drains. Jan Jagran Abhiyan will also be run in this direction, so the importance of maintaining the cleanliness of drains will be explained to the citizens. He said that waste materials like polyethylene block water flow in the drains. This causes a situation of waterlogging and overflow. For this, dump stations will also be built for garbage disposal near the drains, so that the garbage does not go directly into the drains.
