This time the southwest monsoon in the state can knock with the eastern region in the state on its scheduled time (June 15). The monsoon has also been expected to be covered in the entire state in five days of entering. Meteorologists have also hoped to exceed the monsoon rains in Madhya Pradesh. Let us know that last year the monsoon came in the state on June 21 with a delay of six days.
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has estimated the entry of monsoon to the country four days ago i.e. by May 27.
Accordingly, there is a possibility of entering the monsoon MP in 15 to 18 days. The general date of monsoon arrival in the state is June 15.
However, for the last few years, the entry of monsoon in the state has been done only after June 18.
Dr. Divya E. Surendran, senior meteorologist at the Meteorological Center, said that if the monsoon comes early in the country, then it is likely to come in the state on time.
Last year, the southwest monsoon entered the eastern regions of the state, Pandhuna, Seoni, Balaghat, Mandla, Dindori and Anuppur districts on 21 June.
This time too, the possibility of entry of monsoon from these districts is being told.
Hope to be better than normal
This time the monsoon is expected to be better than normal in the state.
According to estimates, the state may receive 104 to 106 percent ie average 38-39 inches of rainfall.
Jabalpur-Shadol division has the highest rainfall.
Whereas in Gwalior, Chambal, Indore, Ujjain and Bhopal divisions, rain quota can also be full.
Explain that the normal rainfall of the state is 37.3 inches.
