Bhopal court notice to Rahul Gandhi, instructions to appear on August 28, know what is the matter

Bhopal
In the Lok Sabha, a notice has been issued to the Leader of Opposition and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi from the Bhopal court. The court has ordered Rahul to appear on August 28. On May 9, Rahul Gandhi was supposed to appear in the court but he did not appear.

The matter is related to the Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections of 2018, when Rahul Gandhi said at an election rally in Jhabua that Shivraj Singh Chauhan and his son Karthikeya are named Panama Papers. Later the comment on Shivraj was withdrawn, but kept the statement on Karthikeya. Which Karthikeya described it as false and defamation. After the statement, Karthikeya had filed a defamation case against Rahul Gandhi.
