Mastermind who cheated 150 crores in Bunty-Babli style arrested from Delhi

Jashpur

Jashpur police has exposed an inter-state fraud of Rs 150 crore, making a shocking disclosure of a high-profile cheating case. In Bunty-Babli style, two main accused of gangs who have lost crores of traders from all over the country have been arrested from Delhi.

Fraud under the guise of sweater, mission becomes ‘network of profit’
5.70 crore rupees were cheated in the name of National Rural Literacy Mission from businessman Amit Aggarwal, resident of Pathalgaon. The thugs, stating that the CSR fund, lured the sweater supply for the school children. On the bottom of the case, the police came to know that it was an organized and extremely vicious fraud network, which was active in many states of the country.

This is how screws started
On the instructions of SSP Shashi Mohan Singh, the team was sent to Delhi under the leadership of SDOP Dhurvesh Jaiswal. The trap was so closely woven that the police lured the order of 1000 crores as an officer of the ministry and called the accused at the Hotel Taj in Delhi.

Police film planning, colored coat-pants and model assistant
For the accused Anita Upadhyay, the police officer sent the local model as an assistant in plain uniform. Anita was implicated on the pretext of meeting in the hotel and then through her the main accused Ratnakar Upadhyay reached the police.

Ratnakar’s speed chase fast police
Ratnakar continued to dodge the police while changing the mobile location on the streets of Delhi. But the Jashpur police did not give up and caught him near a medical store in Sagarpur. During the arrest, he shouted and described himself as abducted and tried to attack SDOP, but the officer did not leave him. He was held firmly until the Delhi Police arrived.

Thugs’ dual moves, director change, avoid responsibility
Arrested accused Ratnakar Upadhyay left the post of Director in 2023 and made Anita Upadhyay a nominal director. Whenever a case of cheating came to light, both would put responsibility on each other.

26 flats, 40 crore property and 2.5 crore car
Police investigation has revealed that the gang has 24 flats in Lucknow, 2 flats in Delhi and a luxury range rover vehicle. Legal screws will also be tightened on these properties.

Such a big fraud was carried out
The gang pretended to benefit in the schemes of CSR Fund through agents in 15 states. Crores were recovered in the name of security money, processing fees and cash bribe. The check is given after the supply, but the cash never happens.

On this adventure operation, Raigad Range IG Deepak Jha has announced a cash reward to the entire team. The role of SDOP Dhurvesh Jaiswal, Inspector Vineet Pandey, Amit Tiwari, ASI Lakesh Sahu, Principal constable Anant Miraj and women constable Rimpa Pankera were commendable in this mission.
