Under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, the state government is conducting water Ganga enrichment campaign across the state to save the state old water sources, give new life and farmers to irrigate and drink, for irrigation and drinking. Under this, under all the districts of the state, other works are being done to stop rain water including Khet Pond, Kupajal Ganga Promotion Campaign Recharge Pit, Soakta Pit, Bori Bandhan under MNREGA (Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act). For this, all districts have also been given a target. Khandwa district has become the first district in the state, which has achieved a target of 100 percent in the construction of the coupe recharge pit.

4 thousand 700 was targeted, made 4 thousand 838
Under the Jal Ganga Promotion Campaign, Khandwa district had a target of making 4 thousand 700 wells resurgent pit, which has been completed ahead and more than the target. 4 thousand 838 well recharge pit has been built in the district. District Panchayat CEO Khandwa Nagarjun B Gowda informed that with this, 15 thousand wells recharge pit are being built in the district, about 10 thousand works are prevented.
