After the strike by India at Pakistan’s terrorist bases, Dot has asked all private and government telecom companies to prepare for disaster levels. Apart from this, the Department of Telecommunications has also asked companies to make their network more secure. In fact, after India’s action, the risk of cyber attachment from Pakistan has increased. For this reason, these strict orders have been given to telecom companies by DOT.
No connectivity disrupted
According to media reports, Dot has said in its order to improve connectivity to Airtel, Jio, BSNL and VI. For this, companies have also been asked to work together. In the meeting after Operation Sindoor, telecom companies have been asked to pay special attention to network connectivity in border areas. Apart from this, these companies have also been asked to make a list of places which can be kept operational in emergency.
This was said in the letter
In its letter, telecom companies have been asked by the Department of Disaster Management of the Ministry of Telecommunications to continue the functioning of any obstruction without BTS places within 100 km of the international border. Apart from this, telecom companies have been ordered to maintain connectivity without any problem. They have especially emphasized on maintaining connectivity of state and district level emergency operations centers.

Let us know that in any emergency, telecom companies start intra circle roaming intra circle roaming service, due to which users do not face problems in network connectivity. This service was also started during the cyclone in Orissa last year. Because of this, people did not face connectivity problems even during cyclone. Due to this service, even if there is no network in emergency, people can add calls using any telecom operator network.
