The release of a film in Hindi cinema is canceled a day before the release, it is rarely heard. But, actor Rajkummar Rao’s new film ‘Bhool Log Maa Maa’, which has been consistently battled at the box office, will no longer be released in theaters. Its makers have decided to release the film directly on OTT next Friday. The press shows of the film were to be held in Delhi and Mumbai after noon today.
According to business sources, till the day before the release of the film ‘Bhool Lumps Maaf’, there was neither any atmosphere in the audience nor in trade. And, despite this, the lead cast of the film Rajkumar Rao and Vamika Gabbi have roamed around half the country to promote it. Producer Dinesh Vision’s company Madock Films, who has released two consecutive block buster films ‘Stree 2’ and ‘Chhava’, has made its next film ‘Bhum Luk Lank Maa Maaf’ for Amazon MGM Studios and the decision to release the film directly on OTT has also been decided by Amazon MGM Studios.
Significantly, before releasing any film in Indian cinemas, producers have to pay a certain amount to the cinema owners and multiplexcha owners, only then any film can be shown in theaters. After this, there is a war between the producers and distributors regarding the percentage of distribution of the film’s ticket sales. However, the reason behind the release of the film ‘Bhool omoults Maaf’ in theaters is being told the situation in the country after the ‘Operation Sindoor’.
A statement released by the filmmakers on Thursday afternoon said, “In view of the recent events and the increased scale of security arrangements across the country, Madock Films and Amazon MGM Studios have decided to release their family entertainment film ‘Bhool Logged’ directly on the prime video on 16 May. Although we were eager to celebrate this film in theaters, but the country is anxious, but the country is before the country, but the country is a country, but the country is before.”
